You attract what you think about

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

What have you been thinking about yesterday and what are you thinking about today?

What is uppermost in your mind?

Is it the fact that you don’t know how you’ll pay your bills or how you’re going to survive?

Then that’s exactly what you’ll attract more of.

If you want to change your situation, you’ll have to change what you think about all day long.

This is why you may not succeed in 2010

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Let’s face it, you probably made resolutions every new year and you never stuck with any of them. So why should this year be any different?

You see the problem is not with the resolutions or with the economy or anything else you may use as an excuse. The problem is you.

Unless you change something about you, nothing else that you’re trying to change will change. Here’s why.

If you try to change something on the outside without changing you, the way you unconsciously do things, you’ll find that soon all your resolutions will be forgotten and you’ll return to the way you are (your habits).

No matter how motivated you’re unless you change your habits which forms a part of who you are, nothing will change.

Habits can serve you well or they can pull you down. If you have tried to change on your own, come every new years and its just not working for you, then maybe its time you do something different.

Maybe its time you ask for help.

Help with motivation, help with accountability, help with focus.

Two is always better than one.

You can do so much more and get so much farther if you know that someone’s got your back.

There’s someone who can get you of the failed resolutions bandwagon for good.

A wonderful quote to start off 2010 with!

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

We are on the brink of a new year and I just wanted to share this wonderful quote by Maryanne Williamson. Nelson Mandela used it during his inauguration as president of South Africa in 1994.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

I hope this quote will inspire you to do and be all that you ever dreamed of.

It is possible. You just have to believe it and start doing it. One action at a time… one day at a time and you’ll make it.

It doesn’t matter if it takes 1 year, 2 years or 8 years. The most important thing is that you start.

The day I drove my car on an empty tank

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

I believed in miracles theoretically, but I never really had the courage to really trust God. So God took away all my means of sustenance (the things I depended on), so I could trust him.

On this particular weekend I went to the funeral of my granny’s sister, which was in a town about 500 kilometers away. I filled the car with gas but for some reason my vehicles’ consumption just went through the roof and I didn’t have enough money for the return drive. So I asked some of my relatives to pitch in, and they gave me some money.

I filled the car for the return drive, but I noticed that my fuel gauge was again descending rapidly and started worrying that I wasn’t going to make it home. So I started driving very slowly which annoyed some of the drivers behind me (we drive very fast on the highways).

Anyways I felt I had little choice and continued driving slowly, but this didn’t help much. When I was about 20 kms outside the city the yellow light came on which told me that my fuel tank was empty.

I decided that I wouldn’t stop and that the only way I was going to stop was when the car would stop by itself. By this time I already had a gospel CD of BeBe Winans in the car and played this loud and sang along loudly as I kept on driving.

The bottom line is that I drove all the way dropping off each of my relatives at their places and I drove back to my house on an empty tank of fuel. Since I didn’t have money in my bank I drove the car the next morning again without fuel. Took my kids to school, took my wife to work and went to work myself.

I dropped my kids of after school and drove back still on an empty tank of fuel. Later during the day we got some money, and I could finally fill up the car.

The total distance I drove on an empty tank was probably around 70 – 90 kms. If I hadn’t experienced it, I wouldn’t have believed it.

On that day I learned a very important lesson. Never stop believing and never give up, no matter how impossible the situation may seem. Miracles are still possible, but you got to believe and keep on going. Just like I kept on driving.

Just to let you know. My manifesting manual, the Ultimate Manifesting Guide and more than 20 of the greatest books ever written on success (most of them out of print) are still available.

This can be for yourself or it can be a nice Christmas gift for someone you care about. Anyways you can get it here!

Have you given up on your dreams?

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

There is a time and a season for failure and there is a time
and a season for your success. You may have come to that point

where you have given up on your dreams… you may have given
up on success, because of the many times you have failed.

However the truth is that there comes a time when the Universe
yields to you, and allows you to have whatever you want. But
that can only happen if you keep hope alive and you keep on
moving forward… dreaming and acting.

Every successful person today had their fair share of failure
and discouragement. However they pressed on in spite of that
and today they encourage us.

I too had those times when giving up seemed like an easier
option, but I chose to continue on because I knew it was just
a matter of time.

I still have the Ultimate Manifesting Guide with over 20 of
the best books ever written on success avaialable for you to
download, so that you can make 2010 your best year ever.

Why Worry, It Will Only Add to Your Troubles

Monday, December 21st, 2009

I was sitting this morning and looking at a complimentary annual calender from the security company that guard our house.

The calender features beautiful birds from all over the world. I marvelled at the birds with their beautiful features and remembered this verse in the Bible: “Don’t worry about what you’ll eat and drink. Look at the flowers and the birds in the wild. They don’t worry about any of those things, yet your father in heaven provides for them

It continues “Now if God cares that much for flowers and birds that are here today and gone tomorrow, how much more will he care for
you?”

So, I encourage you. Stop worrying about what is not working or the “bad” things that might or might not happen. Instead, focus on what you want and make it happen.

All the best.

Formal Education Will Make You A Living

Monday, December 21st, 2009

I want to share a wonderful quote from the great Jim Rohn who recently passed away. He said: “formal education will make you a living, but self education will make you a fortune”

So, I urge you to continue develop yourself. Learn as much as you can and apply it. Develop your talents, improve your body, love yourself more and I promise you. It will all be worth it, because YOU are the most important person in the world to you.

I love you and I appreciate you,
