When it comes to manifesting your desires, you’re often told that you should either do a many number of things including visualization and affirmations and being happy.
However, there is something that I found which is far more powerful and may even work faster than if you only use the techniques the gurus tell you and it is this:
How much do you want it?
Yes, how much do you want all those things that you have identified as the one thing that will make your life complete?
How much you want it, will of course determine what you’re willing to do to get it.
Wanting something so much that you’re willing to face whatever life throws at you, causes the Universe to often yield to you whatever you want, even if it seems impossible.
I recently watched a Tyra
Banks show and there was a
girl who auditioned for the
”America’s next top Model. On
the surface, she appeared no
different from all the other girls until she told her story. This girl had this dream… a burning desire to audition for ”America’s Next Top Model” and to become a super model.
So she packed her bags, and left her hometown for New York. she arrived with just a little money… She had no place to sleep, and soon she ran out of money.
Because she had nowhere else to go, she slept at the Port Authority Terminal in 8th street for a period of time, until the Top Model auditions were held.
Now some people may call this dangerous and it is, but if you have a dream that tears you up inside then you’re prepared to risk it all.
“I believe that one of life’s greatest risks is never daring to risk.”
Oprah Winfrey
I know people who even risk death to fulfill a dream like the adventurers Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones who were the first persons to fly non-stop around the world in a balloon.
The more sober may even call them foolish. But then I guess, to become super rich rich and super successful you have to be a bit foolish. You have to not only take risks, but be prepared to fail and be called a fool.
Those who do so are the ones who emerge as the winners, while the “sober minded” educated folks become their employees.
Fortune favors the brave” is a quote that was uttered by Virgil Aeneid, a Roman epic poet who lived 70 BC – 19 BC.
More than 2000 years ago wise man and women already knew this powerful truth… that fortune favors the brave. And of course, the bigger the risk you’re facing, the bigger the reward.
“It is good to dream, but it is better to dream and work. Faith is mighty,
but action with faith is mightier. Desiring is helpful, but work and desire
are invincible”
Thomas Robert Gaines
This is what will ultimately determine if you’ll manifest your desires.
